A Girls’ Guide

June 30, 2010

In March we chatted about New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd’s foray across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  First there was her overview of reform through the voice of an interview with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal, who she dubbed a “Loosey Goosey Saudi.”   She followed with more perspectives from the Prince, on regional issues, in “Arabia: Inshallah, Obama.

Today we noticed Vanity Fair, where Dowd serves as a contributor, ran a teaser on the web site for her “A Girls’ Guide to Saudi Arabia,” by Keenan Mayo. The Dowd piece will be in the August VF but the teaser was accompanied by her “vacation slide show.” You can catch the 28 pic portfolio of Ms. Down, her traveling companion and encounters HERE.
